Types of Vendors

Annual Lease of a Booth
  • You would purchase a booth from a current vendor for the purchase price you agree upon with them. Then you would owe the Lions Club an annual fee of $570. Make sure that the vendor tells you if the current year lease of $570 is paid when you purchase.
  • Click here to see the booths for sale by vendors.
  • Transfer papers will be sent to the current vendor when you come to an agreement.
  • If you are planning to make changes to the booth, contact John Stark at jstark7@austin.rr.com to make sure your improvements are approved before purchasing the booth.
  • Email vendors@shopmarketdays.com for more information.
Annual Rental of a Booth
  • You may rent a booth for the year from the Lions Club. You do not own this booth but you have use of it for the year. You can make minor adjustments to the booth with the approval of John Stark at jstark7@austin.rr.com.
  • The cost of an annual rental varies depending on the booth you select.
  • You have exclusive use of the booth for the year and can set up at any time during the month just like the regular vendors.
  • The Lions Club will try to give you first right of refusal on the booth for the next year but there are no guarantees as sometimes booths have to be re-purposed for another use.
  • All contracts are due in full at the time you agree to the annual rental.
  • Email vendors@shopmarketdays.com to be put on a list to receive the most current list of Annual Rental booths.
Pre-Rental of a Booth
  • You would be renting the booth for a specific Market Day.
  • You do not have first-right-of-refusal on the booth for the next month. If you want to guarantee a booth each month, you need to set up an Annual Rental.
  • Pre-rentals are $115.
  • Email vendors@shopmarketdays.com to be put on a list to be a part of the pre-rental process when the list becomes available each month.
Day Rental of a Booth
  • You would be renting a booth the morning of a specific Market Day.
  • You would click here to sign up for a number the Thursday prior to Market Day at 1:00 pm.
  • You would arrive at Market Day at 6:45am to see which booths are available. There is never a guarantee of a booth with this process as it depends on the number of regular vendors that do not attend and the number of day renters in line. The number you received on Thursday is your position in line.
  • Day rentals are $75.
  • Email vendors@shopmarketdays.com to be put on a list to be a part of the pre-rental process when the list becomes available each month.

General Information about Renting/Leasing a Booth

  • Over the past years we have noticed that quite a few vendors have tried to rent their booths out separate from the Lions Club. This is not allowed. If you find a vendor that wants to allow you to use their space for a specific month, please send an email to vendors@shopmarketdays.com so the booth can be marked as a pre-rental and assigned to you. If the vendor wants to allow you to use their space for the entire year, send an email to vendors@shopmarketdays.com so the booth can be marked as an annual rental (by vendor) and assigned to you. You will still owe the $115 for a pre-rental per month or the cost of the annual rental. This fee is due to the Lions Club and not the vendor.
  • We are not accepting any food vendors. This includes pre-packaged drinks and food, anything edible.
  • There is electricity in all booths.
  • You must have a sales tax certificate from the State Comptroller's Office to be a vendor of any kind at Wimberley Market Days.

Product Sales Guidelines

  • Food & Beverages: Vendors may not sell food or drinks consumable on Lions Field without written approval by the Annual Leasing Manager.
  • Firearms: Vendors cannot display nor sell guns that are in violation of Federal or State laws. Displayed guns must have open breeches or clip/magazine removed, as appropriate. Absolutely no ammunition allowed.
  • Fireworks: No fireworks or explosive charges may be brought onto Lions Field.
  • Pornography: No pornographic material, or other material, which, in the sole opinion of the Field Management Team, is objectionable, may be sold or exhibited at Lions Field. No objectionable Signage.
  • Animals: No animals are to be sold, given away, or kept at anytime in the Market Sales Area, with the exception of service dogs.
  • Political: Vendors are prohibited from engaging in political practices which promote one political party or candidate or promote a political agenda.
